Epic Games Store starts rolling out cloud save

Since its launch in December 2018, one of the biggest gripes about the Epic Games Store is the lack of cloud save. Rival digital game store Steam’s cloud save feature allows users to login to the Steam client and access their game saves and progress from any computer. Now that feature is starting to roll out to a handful of games on the Epic Games Store. Epic Games Store made the announcement in a blog post on their website with a list of the games that currently feature the support.

  • Alan Wake
  • Close to the Sun
  • Darksiders III
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • Genesis Alpha One
  • GNOG
  • Hyperlight Drifter
  • Kingdom New Lands
  • Limbo
  • Moonlighter
  • Mutant Year Zero
  • Overcooked
  • Rebel Galaxy Outlaw
  • Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter
  • The Sinking City
  • This War Of Mine
  • World War Z

Epic said Ubisoft games have already featured cloud saves thanks to the Uplay client integration.

“We’re working with the developers of other released games to test cloud saves, and will be enabling more games over time,” the post said. “Upcoming games that support Cloud Saves will have them enabled at launch!”

Epic also said with this update they are launching keyless integration with Humble Bundle and Humble Store. If you link your Epic games Store account to your Humble account, you can purchase games directly without needing a key. To get more on this store update, read the full blog post here.
