Games are getting pricier and pricier. It’s hard to budget when they eat up the inside of your wallet so quickly. Luckily, Steam offers various sales throughout the year. One of their most popular ones is the Steam Summer Sale every, well, summer.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
If you’re a Star Wars fan and a gamer, you’ve likely played some form of LEGO Star Wars over the years. But, in any case, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is definitely a worthwhile pickup during the Steam Summer Sale.

TT Games has really taken the formula of other LEGO games and learned from every mistake when they put out this one. The map system and menus are clean and easy to use. It’s also easy to jump back and forth between stories or just free play.
It tells the stories of the mainline, numbered Star Wars films. But, there are plenty of jokes, characters, and easter eggs to keep you coming back repeatedly.
If you’re looking for the base game, you can grab it right now on Steam for only $16.49 (off from $49.99).
But, it’s worthwhile to spend that extra few bucks for the Deluxe Edition. It adds a ton of extra characters. If you like Ahsoka or Grogu, you’ll want the Deluxe edition at only $19.79 (down from $59.99).
As they’ve put out more since the initial release, the Galactic Edition is only $23.09 (originally $69.99) and gets you literally everything available currently.

TEKKEN 7
TEKKEN 7 has been out for six years at this point. It’s not new by any stretch of the imagination. But, it is TEKKEN, meaning that it holds up anytime you want to play a good fighting game.

With TEKKEN 8 just around the corner, you might want to grab it to brush up on your technique and skills.
If you haven’t yet picked up TEKKEN 7 during its long life span of discounts, deals, and price drops, you can grab the base game on Steam this week for only $5.99. Considering that it’s down from a current price of $39.99, it’s a great time.
But, why stop there? There is an Originals Edition of the game that adds 12 additional characters for only $13.49 right now, normally $89.99.
Or you can grab the Definitive Edition for $16.49 (down from a whopping $109.99). It doesn’t add a ton, but it does offer a few additional characters, customization options, and stages. It’s worth the money if you’re already considering the Originals Edition.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
Listen to me. If you haven’t already played Spider-Man on the PlayStation consoles and you’re a fan of the web-slinger, you’re doing yourself a disservice by not playing Spider-Man Remastered.

This is a fantastic game, made by Insomniac (AKA, a fantastic development team). Seeing as this was a PlayStation exclusive originally, this Remastered version is beautifully made and ported. Make sure to sync your PlayStation account with Steam to earn some extra early unlocks.
You can pick up this $59.99 game for only $40.19 right now. It’s about as good of a discount as you’re going to see.

Sea of Thieves: 2023 Edition
The seas were a tad shaky when Sea of Thieves originally came out. In the past several years since it was first released, it’s gotten better and better. You can grab this awesome pirate game at 50% sticker price right now on the Steam Summer Sale.

If you’re a fan of sea-based adventures, you can grab your friends and hit the open seas. Find treasure, swordfight with enemies, take quests, and avoid being swallowed by giant sea monsters.
This sale comes in two flavors: 2023 Edition and Deluxe Edition. The 2023 edition is only $19.99 right now and packs its own punch. With tons of free content updates and some extra goodies to get you going for 2023, this is a great way to go.
The Sea of Thieves Deluxe Edition offers a soundtrack, audiobook, desktop wallpapers, and a handful of special customization options for your ship and pirate. It’s only five bucks more right now at $24.99.
If you already own Sea of Thieves (because of course you do), you can pick up the Deluxe Edition upgrade for only $4.99.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of those games that made a mark on history, is fondly remembered, and silently slipped away from the daily eye. Rockstar Games made such a beautifully designed game and you can snag a copy for really cheap right on on the Steam Summer Sale.

If you’re into cowboys, the wild west, or just really fun, open-world gameplay, you’re in luck. This amazing adventure spans generations and has a full multiplayer mode with Red Dead Online. For those that are addicted to GTA Online, this is like that, but in the 1800s.
The base game is only $19.79 right now, down from $59.99. Seriously, this is a 3-and-a-half-year-old game that still normally costs full price.
If you want all of the content, though, the Ultimate Edition normally costs $99.99. You can pick it up right now for a cool $29.99.
