Everyone else is, apparently.

Who knew something so simple would be so popular? BattleBit Remastered hit nearly two million units sold in its first two weeks.

BattleBit Remastered is only 15 bucks on Steam and has up to 254 players fighting in a first-person shooter. Made by only four developers, this game is out-performing nearly everything on the market right now.

What makes BattleBit Remastered so special?

BattleBit Remastered is a perfect mesh between weird and serious. The game plays like a tight Battlefield-style game but looks like it’s right out of Minecraft or Roblox. It was announced back in 2016 and came out a little over two weeks ago now.

Players can choose a class, customize, choose from a ton of weapon options, and earn ranks as they play. You can ride around in several vehicle types. The developers, SgtOkiDoki, are promising a ton of future content and updates.

Honestly, the first thing that we noticed is how everything is destructible in the game. If you use a tank on the side of a building, it’s going to no longer have a side of the building. Due to the lower polygon count, the game runs as smoothly as butter.

Additionally, the size of the servers holds 254 players in a match, as well. We’re talking Halo’s Big Team Battle, but over 10x bigger.

As mentioned, popularity brings profits. BattleBit Remastered is rocking 1.8 million units sold in its first two weeks. That’s amazing for such a small team.

Grab the game on early access right now over on Steam for $14.99. Or, you can grab the Supporter Pack 1 with a ton of weapon skins for another $19.99. There is also a bundle to get both for cheaper.
