XIII remake delayed until 2020

Originally slated for a November 13 release, looks like the anticipated XIII remake is getting a bit of delay. The folks at PlayMagic and Microids have announced that they need a bit more time to polish the game, so they’re pushing back the release to sometime in 2020.

“We are thrilled with PlayMagic’s work so far,” said François Coulon, Head of Production at Microïds. “This additional development time is needed to reach the level of polish we’re aiming for. The announcement was greeted by an overwhelming response from the community and we’ll make sure to deliver the best possible game to our fans.”

XIII was originally released in 2003 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, and PC. The remake will arrive in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac.
