Updates coming to Street Fighter V next week, including the debut of Alex

Fans of Street Fighter V have been (patiently) awaiting the next update for the game, hoping some cool new content is on the way. Well, good news, it is.

Capcom detailed the latest update coming next week, which will be divided into two sections. The first will arrive on March 28, featuring a new Challenge Mode and the ability to challenge a player to a rematch, along with eight-person lobbies and balancing.

However, the big update drops on March 30, when Street Fighter III favorite Alex will make his debut in the game, along with his story content and an in-game shop where you can purchase characters and costumes, either with fight money or real cash (your Season pass will apply here as well).

In addition, Capcom will reward players with Ryu and Chun Li's costumes from story mode free of charge, a nice little bonus that would otherwise set you back 40,000 in Fight Money. So, there's that at least.

Street Fighter V is available now for PC and PlayStation 4.
