Uncharted 4 multiplayer gets permanent King of the Hill and new costumes
Naughty Dog is prepping a new multiplayer update for Uncharted 4 which will bring with it a new game mode, new weapons, new costumes, and more.
The main highlight of the update is the new King of the Hill game mode. King of the Hill was previously introduced to Uncharted 4’s multiplayer component as a limited-time addition but with this upcoming update, it will become a permanent part of the game’s ecosystem. As in other competitive multiplayer games, Uncharted 4’s version of King of the Hill tasks two teams with securing and holding a rotating series of control points, but there’s one twist: once one team accrues enough point to attain victory, they must capture one final “victory hill,” but if the losing team captures it, they get a shot at making a comeback.
Along with the permanent King of the Hill mode, the update includes three brand new weapons (the INSAS and Type-95 long guns and a scoped Competition Pistol) and a series of new character outfits which are based off the Savage Starlight comic series as made famous by The Last of Us.
According to this post on the PlayStation Blog the update should arrive tomorrow, March 17.
