Tekken 7 will feature both Kuma and Panda

Kuma and Panda, the two fighting bears who have long been mainstays of the Tekken series, have both been confirmed for Tekken 7 and a new trailer shows them both in action.

In the past, Panda was little more than an alternate skin for Kuma, but over time she was given her own personality and backstory which is separate from Kuma’s (also, unlike the male Kuma, Panda has been established as being female). In Tekken 7, they will be two completely separate characters, each with their own unique movesets and special Rage Art moves. Panda’s Rage Art will involve a volleyball spike while Kuma’s will involve using a large fish like a baseball bat (I really can’t make this stuff up).

Tekken 7 is set to release in North America sometime in early 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
