Street Fighter V will be showcased at Comic-Con

There are plenty of high profile games making their way to the San Diego Comic-Con next week…and now you can add Capcom's Street Fighter V to the list.

Capcom confirmed today via its website that the sequel will be making an appearance at the four day event. "Learn how you can earn big money and everlasting fame by competing in the Capcom Pro Tour, culminating in the Capcom Cup Finals later this year. Plus, get a first look at all the must-have Street Fighter and SF5-licensed products and promotions in store for the rest of the year!" says the Comic-Con listing description.

Most of the new Street Fighter information is expected to be revealed during a special panel that takes place on July 9 at 11:45 AM PDT. Yoshinori Ono, the game's executive producer, is expected to be there, along with other talent behind the game.

There's no word yet if the game will be playable, but considering Sony likes big events to some extent, it'd surprise us if it wasn't. Besides, who doesn't like some Street Fighter V to go along with their summer nerddom?
