Square Enix announces E3 2018 showcase

It’s been a while since Square Enix held a press conference during E3, but this year they’re returning, and it’s a bit different. Instead of renting out space at an expensive Los Angeles venue and inviting hundreds of journalists, the company has decided to go the Nintendo route and make their E3 announcements via direct video.

On Monday June 11 at 10 a.m. PST, Square Enix will live stream their pre-produced video presentation through Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, Facebook, and Twitter. Get links to all their platforms here.

While the company hasn’t announced which games they’ll be showcasing, we can speculate Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Kingdom Hearts III, and Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be shown with hopes of some news regarding Final Fantasy VII remake, their in-development Avengers game, and maybe a new Life is Strange game.
