Shenmue III delayed until November
When Yu Suzuki announced a Kickstarter campaign in 2015 for the long-awaited Shenmue III, fans of the first two games quickly put their money up to support the project. The campaign raised more the $6 million and Suzuki and his team have been toiling away at the game’s development.
The game has had various release dates ranging from 2017 to August of this year, but there’s yet a another delay.
In a post on the game’s Kickstarter page, Suzuki announced a new release date from the game, November 19, 2019. The previous release date was August 27, 2019.
“Whilst almost ready, the game simply needs a little more refinement before being truly finished,” Suzuki said. “We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve! We thank you for your patience and understanding.”
