Razer releases Kraken Headset for Xbox One

In a move sure to please owners of Xbox One (most USB headsets are compatible with the PlayStation 4), peripheral manufacturer Razer announced the immediate availability of their signature Kraken headset for the console.

Razer's CEO Min-Liang Tan was excited about bringing Razer's offerings, which have typically targeted PC users, to the Xbox One. "This new headset is joining the Razer Atrox arcade stick for Xbox One and we are excited to expand our console line further in the future," she said.

The Razer Kraken features a closed cup design, 40 mm drivers, a uni-directional microphone, and an audio control unit that plugs into  the Xbox One controller. The headset will retail for $100 and will begin shipping on Dec. 12.
