PS4 mods and season pass DLC are coming to Fallout 4

Bethesda has revealed its post-launch content release plans for Fallout 4 which will include free updates, season pass DLC and mods for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

According to a new post on Bethesda’s main website, Fallout 4 will be the first Fallout game to come with a season pass. The pass will cost $30 and will include access to both the planned DLC additions Bethesda already has in the works (adding up to $40 of content) as well as any future DLC the studio releases. Free updates which fix bugs and add in new minor features (similar to the free Skyrim updates) will also be released.

As for mods, Bethesda will be releasing a free creation kit for Fallout 4 sometime in early 2016. Mods will eventually be transferred over to Xbox One first, then PlayStation 4. There’s still no word on how it will be decided which mods get ported over to consoles, but now at least all console players can rest assured they will be getting access to mods at some point.

Fallout 4 will be released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 10.
