Overwatch is getting another free-play weekend event

Blizzard had a lot to say about Overwatch during its recent BlizzCon event, and if all the new features and announcements have given you an itch to try the game out, you’ll soon be able to do just that without spending a dime thanks to an upcoming free-play weekend.

According to this recent post on the Overwatch website, the free weekend will run from November 17-20 and will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Those on PC will need to make a free Battle.net account and download the Blizzard launcher (which is also free), while those on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will need an active subscription of their respective console’s multiplayer service (Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus).

For the free weekend event, all 26 currently available heroes and all 16 maps will be open to free players, and those who decide to buy the game once the event is over will retain any progress they made.
