Middle-earth: Shadow of War VO cast revealed
Warner Bros has announced there will be a special panel during this month’s San Diego Comic-Con that will focus on the voice cast being Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and as part of that announcement it has also revealed some of the actors who will be lending their voices to the game.
Unsurprisingly, veteran video game voice actor Troy Baker will be reprising his role as series protagonist Talion, and for Shadow of War he’ll also be serving as the game’s performance capture director. Alastair Duncan (Westworld, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) will also be returning to voice Talion’s counterpart, the Elvish smith-turned-wraith Celebrimbor. As for some of the new faces who will appear in Shadow of War, they include Silicon Valley’s Kumail Nanjiani (who also lent his voice for Mass Effect: Andromeda), The Walking Dead’s Pollyanna McIntosh, and fellow veteran voice actor Laura Bailey (who most recently voiced characters in Injustice 2).
All of the above actors (save for Duncan) will be present for the SDCC panel that is set to be held on July 21.The panel will be moderated by fellow video game voice actor Matt Mercer (a.k.a. McCree from Overwatch).
