Konami will soon debut Metal Gear Survive gameplay footage
Konami has announced that it will be debuting the first gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Survive, the four-player co-op game which is set in an alternate reality timeline of the Metal Gear franchise, at the currently ongoing Tokyo Games Show event later this week.
The trailer will be broadcasted via Konami’s official YouTube channel, though if you want to watch it stateside, you’ll have to stay up a little late since the time zone differences mean the trailer will debut at 12:15 a.m. PST (3:15 a.m. EST). Exactly what will be shown in the trailer isn’t yet known, but Konami has promised the trailer will include actual gameplay as well as “brand new information about the upcoming title.”
Metal Gear Survive was initially unveiled during this year’s Gamescom event. It is the first Konami-produced Metal Gear game since the company’s public falling out with Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima. A release date for Metal Gear Survive hasn’t yet been revealed, but hopefully the trailer will reveal more about when exactly the game will be showing up on store shelves.
