Jack The Ripper comes to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate this week
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate players will be able to pit their skills against one of the most infamous killers in history starting this week thanks to the release of the Jack the Ripper story expansion.
The expansion is appropriately set in the year 1888, 20 years after the events of the core Syndicate campaign. Playing as a much older and wiser Evie Frye, players must investigate the various murders and other mysteries surrounding Jack, uncovering clues which eventually lead to a showdown with the masked murderer. The below trailer doesn’t explain why Evie’s brother Jacob isn’t in the picture, but it does do a good job of conveying the terror and paranoia the residents of London’s Whitechapel district undoubtedly felt during the Ripper’s reign.
The Jack the Ripper expansion will be available December 15 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and on Tuesday, December 22 for the PC version. The expansion can be bought standalone for $14.99 and is included in Syndicate’s $29.99 season pass.
