Hitman TV series being produced by Hulu, Fox 21

Despite the Hitman movies getting a mediocre reaction from movie-goers (there’s a third film coming), the folks at Hulu and Fox 21 have joined forces to bring Hitman to television screen.

According to Deadline, the pilot for show is being written by John Wick writer, Derek Kolstad, who is also writing the third Hitman film which drops in 2019.

There’s no word on the story line the pilot will follow, although the most recent Hitman release, which consisted of seven episodes and takes place seven years after the events of Hitman: Absolution, would be solid source material.

The folks at Hulu are hoping the show could be a flagship series for its service.
