Free UK Fallout 4 DLC purchases have been revoked

For a brief time period last week, Fallout 4 fans in the United Kingdom were elated (and likely more than a little skeptical) to discover that the game’s season pass was available to download via the UK PlayStation Store for free. Now, it turns out they had good reason to be skeptical.

A PlayStation UK spokesperson has now confirmed the free listing was an error and was quickly corrected. And in case you were wondering, yes, the free downloads have been revoked:

“The Fallout 4 Season Pass was briefly made available erroneously free of charge on PlayStation Store in the SCEE region on Friday 18th March. This was an error and has now been removed. For consumers who may have tried to purchase the Fallout 4 Season Pass during this time, regretfully, these orders will not be fulfilled."

Oddly enough, the bonus Fallout 4 PS4 theme which comes with season pass purchases does not appear to be been revoked from those who attempted to purchase the pass during its brief period of being free, according to IGN.

Those who want to purchase the pass legitimately now have more incentive to do so, since Fallout 4’s first DLC pack, the robot-themed Automatron, is coming out today.
