Freaking Meatbags is an RTS set in a world of robot supremacy

The Real Time Strategy (RTS) genre is one of the oldest in the business, and it contains some of the titans of video game history. While Wild Factor's new RTS entry Freaking Meatbags might not compete with the likes of StarCraft II on the graphics front, it's clearly looking to make its mark with its sense of humor.

Freaking Meatbags will put you in the role of a cleaning robot tasked with gathering resources from a series of worlds before the solar system explodes. To do this you'll manage your crew of human "meatbags," mixing their DNA with that of aliens to create hybrids that can, for example, fire laser beams from their eyes or just explode on contact. You'll also be able to build offensive and defensive structures in your base to fight off the wild robots that attack each night.

Freaking Meatbags is scheduled for Steam Early Access on PC in early Summer.
