Fallout Shelter gets Thanksgiving-themed cosmetic update

Last month, the vault dwellers in Bethesda's hit mobile spin-off game Fallout Shelter found time in their busy vault-dwelling lives to celebrate Halloween with spooky decorations and fun costumes. Now, the dwellers have traded out their Halloween décor for new festive additions which celebrate this month's holiday of Thanksgiving.

Bethesda announced the new Thanksgiving update via Twitter, showing off some of the update's festive new decorations. Vault dwellers in Fallout Shelter now sport pilgrim outfits, and fully upgraded rooms now include Thanksgiving-themed details such as cooked turkeys on tables, turkey clocks in diners, and large festival horns of food in living quarters.

Since Bethesda likely has a Christmas-themed update on deck for next month, interested players should definitely try to log in as soon as possible to see the Thanksgiving decorations for themselves. Now is also a great time to play Fallout Shelter thanks to the recent update which added in a new Survival mode and the ability to scavenge supplies off of defeated raiders.

Fallout Shelter is available now for free on both iOS and Android devices.
