Fallout 4 wins best of E3

Fallout 4 is looking to be one of the biggest releases on the gaming docket this year, featuring not just the post-apocalyptic wastelands we love, not just the base building we've always wanted, and not just the ridiculous level of weapon customization that only mods could give us in the past, Fallout 4 is also giving us the adorable doggy companion that the gaming world has wanted since the absence of Dogmeat in Fallout: New Vegas. So it comes as no surprise after the almost ridiculous level of excitement generated by Fallout 4's announcement that it walked away with the Game Critic's Award for Best of E3

The loveable post-apocalyptic RPG also picked up the award for Best PC Game, as well as Best RPG, and it even topped the charts for one of our most anticipated games of summer 2015. Quite a list of achievements for a game that isn't poised to come out till November. Even though Fallout 4 is likely to be buggy, crashy, and as generally frustrating as any Bethesda release, we're probably all going to love it anyways, because it's Fallout and it'll have the same quirky style that Bethesda weaves into all their games. Now if they would only release more copies of the Pipboy Edition for PC so that a certain obsessive writer could pick one up for...research purposes...then all would be right in the world.

The rest of the E3 winners went pretty much as expected with Uncharted 4 winning just as many awards as Fallout 4 and Horizon: Zero Dawn picking up Best Original Game.
