Fallout 4 spoken dialogue includes over 100,000 lines
At long last, Bethesda has finally finished recording spoken dialogue for its upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 4. The final tally adds up to more lines than both Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim combined.
Bethesda shared the impressive feat via Twitter, saying that just over 111,000 lines were recorded for the game. A good number of those lines will likely be spoken by the player’s character (who can be male or female) since, unlike Fallout 3 and Skyrim, Fallout 4 actually features a speaking main protagonist. Another sizable chunk of dialogue is also likely taken up by the player’s robotic servant Mr. Handy, who can call the player’s character a number of different names.
Players will be able to listen to (or skip over) all 111,000 lines of dialogue when Fallout 4 is released on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
