Fallout 4 PS4 players are still waiting on official mod support
It is now August and Bethesda still can’t say when official mod support for Fallout 4 will be coming to the game’s PlayStation 4 version.
Official modding support was originally supposed to arrive for the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 back in late June, but Bethesda was forced to delay the full launch when a number of issues were discovered, issues which include a lack of sound file support and a storage cap of just 900 MB. Judging from a recent tweet which was sent out by the official Fallout Twitter account, it sounds like Bethesda is working hard to get mod support onto PS4, but Sony may be dragging its feet. This theory was seemingly supported by Bethesda’s vice president Pete Hines in a separate tweet (though he didn’t call out Sony by name).
The wait for official mod support has no doubt been painful for PS4 Fallout 4 players considering the game has had some sort of mod support on PC ever since it launched, and the Xbox One version has had official mod support ever since May.
