Fallout 4 PC players can now sign up for closed beta mod testing

Bethesda has announced it is expanding the closed beta program for Fallout 4’s mod creation kit, which means that those who aren’t already in the program but who want to be can now apply.

According to a new thread on the Bethesda forums, those who are interested in applying to the creation kit closed beta program need only complete two simple steps: apply directly via the DLC beta page (a link to which can be found in the original thread post), and post a reply with the word “YES” in the thread itself. Both steps require users to first make a Bethesda account.

The creation kit will serve as an official way for modders to create and upload mods for both the PC and console versions of Fallout 4. The game’s second official DLC pack, Wasteland Workshop, is set to be released tomorrow, April 12, for all platforms.
