Darkest Dungeon launches for the Nintendo Switch on January 18
After announcing last year that it would be bringing its ultra-difficult Lovecraftian-style RPG Darkest Dungeon to the Nintendo Switch, developer Red Hook Studios has now provided a specific release date: January 18.
According to this announcement post on the Darkest Dungeon website, the Switch version of Darkest Dungeon will cost $24.99 when it arrives. Fans who want the full maddening experience will also be able to purchase the Crimson Court DLC for an additional $9.99 and the Shieldbreaker companion DLC for $3.99. The upcoming Color of Madness DLC will also be coming to the Switch version at a later date. In addition to standard stick-and-button controls, the Switch version of Darkest Dungeon will also support touch-based controls.
A release window for the Color of Madness DLC hasn’t yet been confirmed, but Red Hook says it should have more information to share in the coming months.
