Capcom details second round of Street Fighter V beta testing
It would seem Capcom has finally worked out all of the kinks for the Street Fighter V closed beta since the studio has now confirmed when players will get to dive back in for a second round of pre-release pummeling.
The second beta phase will begin on October 21 for PS4 players at 6:00 p.m. PST. During the initial launch, only Ken, Vega, Necalli and R. Mika will be playable (Ryu, Chun-Li, M. Bison, Birdie, Cammy and Nash will sadly not be available during this beta phase). On October 22, the beta servers will be taken down for a maintenance period which will last 12 hours. When the servers are brought back up on October 23, both PC and PS4 players will be able to play and the fighter Rashid will be unlocked. Later in the day, additional fighter Karin will also be unlocked, bringing the total beta roster up to six.
A second maintenance period will bring the servers down in the early morning of October 24, though this maintenance period will only last ten hours. Once the second maintenance period is finished, the servers will be brought back online for one final stretch into October 25 before the beta concludes.
