Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is now backwards compatible on Xbox One
Microsoft has announced the latest game to become backwards compatible on Xbox One: the classic Call of Duty title Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
The backwards compatibility of Black Ops 2 was made official via the Xbox Wire. Since the original Call of Duty: Black Ops is already backwards compatible on Microsoft’s latest console, that means that fans can now play the entire Black Ops trilogy on Xbox One, assuming of course they still have their old Xbox 360 copies of the first two Black Ops games lying around.
The online multiplayer servers for Black Ops 2 are exactly the same on Xbox One as they are on Xbox 360 so you can play on your newer console while retaining any progress you made.
