A bunch of free game demos are now available on Steam

Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of events across the globe have been canceled. One of the major annual spring events is the Game Developers Conference, which was scheduled to take place this month. While presentations from major game companies have turned their keynotes into online video presentations, small indie game companies who planned on showing their games at the conference don’t have those types of resources.

Enter Steam.

Steam is hosting The Spring Game Festival until March 23 where gamers can download the demos of some indie games that were supposed showcased at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference. There are more than 40 games featured in the virtual festival, some are in early access and for sale, along with some of the developers livestreaming their games on the platform.
