Atom announced for Injustice 2

Mere days after adding Mortal Kombat’s Raiden into the game, NetherRealm has now confirmed one of the new Injustice 2 DLC characters who will be included in the DC fighting game sequel’s third and final Fighter Pack: the molecular master known as The Atom.

NetherRealm revealed a new teaser trailer for The Atom during the recent finale of the ‘Chasing the Cup’ Injustice 2 event on the CW. It was also later confirmed that Injustice 2’s Atom will be Ryan Choi, the protégée of the original Atom, Ray Palmer. Much like in the DC comics, The Atom will be able to use his ability to both shrink and grow in size to knock his opponents around with unorthodox attacks and combos, and the clash dialogue he shares with Robin shows that he isn’t afraid to throw in a few clever quips for good measure.

Since the roster of Injustice 2’s second Fighter Pack has already been locked in (Black Manta, Raiden, and Hellboy), it can be safely assumed that The Atom will be one of the three fighters who are included in the game’s upcoming Fighter Pack #3.
