Assassin’s Creed movie getting a home release in March

It has barely been a full two months since the Assassin’s Creed movie was released in theaters last December, but that isn’t stopping 20th Century Fox from scheduling the release of the film’s home versions for March (i.e. next month).

If you don’t care about having a physical copy to add to your shelf, the digital home version of Assassin’s Creed will arrive on March 10. Those who *do* want a physical version however will have to wait a little longer when the physical DVD, Blu-ray, and 3D Blu-ray versions are released on March 21. All versions of the home release will also include some extra bonus features including an in-depth look at the film’s costumes and weapons, a behind-the-scenes featurette on how the film’s stunts were created, a look into how the first game in the series inspired the film, and interviews with the cast and crew.

In our official GameCrate review of the Assassin’s Creed film, we said that it’s a surprisingly compelling adaptation which, while not without its faults, is worth watching if you’re in the mood for a solid action/martial arts flick.
